SPF record for SaleCORE email marketing

If you are using SaleCORE email marketing, we recommend that you create a Sender Policy Framework (SPF) record for your website domain. An SPF record is a type of Domain Name Service (DNS) record that identifies which mail servers are permitted to send email on behalf of your domain.

The purpose of an SPF record is to prevent spammers from sending messages with forged From addresses at your domain. Recipient Mail Servers can refer to the SPF record to determine whether a message is coming from an authorized sender.

To create an SPF record, you need access to your DNS Server.  You need to create a TXT record with the value:

v=spf1 include:_spf.salecore.com ~all

If you are using Google Apps or Microsoft Office 365, you probably already have a setting that looks like this:

v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all

You can't have 2 spf records, so if you already have Google or Office365, you need to add salesaspects.com to the existing record like this:

v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com include:_spf.salecore.com ~all
